Lux Butler

My name's Lux Butler and I'm a recent graduate from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, earning my bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication. ​I'm a digital reporter and photographer and I aspire to report from all over the world.

In my career so far, I have reported on the great city of Phoenix for The Arizona Republic and the Phoenix Business Journal. I am also honored to have been a reporter for my university's acclaimed news station, Cronkite News, reporting from the Nation's capital, Washington, D.C. In the summer of 2024, I will travel with Cronkite News to Paris to report on the Olympic Games. Beyond closing ceremonies, I am open to new opportunities and excited to continue learning, with my "boots on the ground."
